Viños de la tierra de Castilla

Ábrego 2012

Wine from the Domination of Origin: Tierra de Castilla.

Grape variety: 100% Cencibel/ Tempranillo.

9 month fermentation in French and American oak barrels on their second or third use.

Production in 2012: 27,300 bottles.

Dark Cherry colour with purple edges, medium colour intensity.

Intense, expressive aromas of red fruit, berries and woodland.

Moving the wine in the glass reveals notes of sharp spicy aromas and roasted coffee beans.

A clean woodiness is balanced well with the fruit. Fresh on the Palate, full bodied and powerful, the notes of mature black fruit return. Rich tasty and powerful tannins come to the fore before a long finish in which their creaminess takes centre stage.
